Downtown Cottage
The space
The cottage has been extensively renovated to include all the modern updates you expect from boutique cottage accommodation. It provides the perfect landing pad for all your Black Hills adventuring.
It’s a single level 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bathroom house with a loft area. The primary bedroom has a queen sized bed, Tv, and en suite full bathroom. The 2nd bedroom offers 2 full sized beds with TV.
***PLEASE NOTE: The loft area is accessed via sliding library ladder. Climbing is done at your own risk. Please lock wheels and only climb barefoot.
The parking spot to the right of the house is a tight squeeze. There is a light post on the left and neighboring fence on the right that make getting in and out tricky especially for larger vehicles. There is ample free street parking on 12th street that faces the cottage house***
The chef’s kitchen is open concept and fully equipped with HexClad cookware, baking sheets, utensils, dishes – everything to make your own meals at home. A Keurig coffee machine greets you in the morning with plenty of coffee pods and creamer. If you prefer going out for coffee simply take a stroll downtown to Harriet and Oak for an amazing espresso.
The beautiful living room doubles as a conversation area or cozy movie night setting. The TV uses Roku which allows you to log into your accounts and stream your favorite shows.
The loft provides a great getaway for kids and adults alike. With two reading chairs, a desk, games, and toys this might be your favorite part of the cottage.
The outdoor area is completely fenced in with a relaxing fire table.
Guest access
Guests have access to house and fenced in yard area. You can park in the parking spot to the right of the house. Please do not block alley. Also, free street parking on 11th st that faces the cottage.

By booking this property you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
Guest understands that the use of the loft and sliding ladder is strictly an amenity and is not guaranteed under the terms of booking and is not a material inducement to book this property. Ladders and lofts are not only a source of danger because of heights but also operation and misuse leading to injury. The ladder and loft may be used only under supervision of the guest who booked the unit and at the guest’s own risk. Guest must immediately notify the owner of any damage or defect that may affect functionality and safety of using the ladder and loft. Guest must operate the ladder and loft strictly in accordance with owner’s instructions and in a safe manner at all times. Guest agrees to indemnify, defend. and hold owner harmless from all claims, damages, and expenses including reasonable attorney’s fees arising out of guest’s use of the ladder and loft provided that owner shall not be relieved from liability for the sole and exclusive negligence or intentional acts of owner. Owner shall not be liable to guest and guest waives all claims for damages sustained by guests arising out of guest’s use of the ladder and loft.
